I am wanting to build a website for a new organization called Neighborocracy DFW and I need help with a logo. The non-profit provides comprehensive training and support for those creating local neighborhood pods and children's parliaments, both of which can be defined as circles of grassroots, face-to-face celebration, sharing, and governance among immediate neighbors of all ages. Basically, we are training people to build little direct democracies of their closest 30 or so neighbors to put more control over their lives into their own hands.
Key themes in the design could include circles (whether just the shape or circles of human-like figures meeting together), other images of neighbors congregating and/or raising their hands in democratic consent, relevant native plant/tree imagery, or anything else you can think of. Crucially, this imagery should not convey partisan or ideological symbolism because this is an inclusive movement to empower people who have neighbors.
I will give hours for even attempting to make a logo even if we don't ultimately go with yours! Thanks!!
