Hello, my partner and I are moving in August and need help loading our Uhaul. We live in a second floor apartment and we both have disabilities that make it hard to lift things. We don't know many locals and we're looking for anyone that has the ability to move furniture or can point us to an organization that could help us. Everything will already be packed and ready to be hauled out. We have a dresser and a desk that will require two people to lift but otherwise we don't have a lot of large furniture to worry about and it'll mostly be boxes. We need folks who are comfortable with us being a queer couple as well as folks willing to mask around us as one of us is immunocompromised. We also have cats in the apartment if allergies are a concern but they will be put out of the way for their safety.
